On The Bench – August 5, 2012

This is coming together pretty quick. I knew I wanted to do this as a knocked out KV-2 but wasn’t quite sure about anything more than that. A little peice of 1″ blue insulating foam and some spray paint worked out well for the base. I did the trenches by applying lacquer thinner to the foam with a brush. It eats the foam and is controllable so it works well. All I need is a bit of plaster and some vegetation to finish up the base. The tank still needs a bit of work but she’s done for the most part. No wash, just multiple layers of drybrushing lighter and lighter shades.
